For me, it’s the outdoors and noticing the changes of seasons. Every time. Right now, spring is in full swing and the colors are so vibrant. Everything’s alive again.

Dr. K Kay Moody is an emergency medicine physician who recently made a transition to working mostly in the urgent care setting. She has five grown children and many farm babies, including chickens, ducks, geese, and horses. K Kay owns two large ranch properties: Glacier Rock Wellness Ranch in Washington and Boozy Creek Wellness Ranch in Tennessee.
K Kay as she’s known, shares her properties for both group retreats and short-term getaways. I had the pleasure of leading a small, private retreat of physician women at her Washington ranch last fall; it was a magical week of nature and connection. Speaking of connection, K Kay also leads thousands of physicians in two popular Facebook groups in order to cultivate a community of physicians.
