Dr. Wiggins.
Mrs. Aiello.
She uses both titles and loves it. Her orchestra of balance is playing a rich musical composition.
This episode of the Lean Out Podcast features my conversation with Cheri Wiggins Aiello, whom I’ve known for a number of years. We initially met at the very first White Coat Investor conference in Park City, and after realizing we share common interests and motivations, we’ve kept in touch ever since.
Cheri is a study in experimentation. She’s started numerous businesses and worked in multiple healthcare settings. Currently, she mixes her time with occasional locum tenens physiatry work, expert witness cases, and something unexpected: substitute teaching at her kids’ school. In this episode we discuss:
- How her training as a physician informs the work she does at her local high school
- Her role as a minimalist and financial independence enthusiast and how she’s now offering inspiration to others
- The beauty of experimenting with roles you aren’t sure you will like.
Cheri is profiled in Chapter 8 of my book Lean Out: A Professional Woman’s Guide to Finding Authentic Work-Life Balance. Listen to our conversation on your favorite podcast platform, or here:
