Money is a funny thing. If you don’t have a lot of it, you can have significant stress.
But the opposite is not necessarily true.
Having a lot of money will not erase your stress. It will not solve your problems or give you happiness, freedom, or anything else.
At the same time, most of us want “enough”… whatever that means to you.
My guest on the Lean Out Podcast is Savannah Arroyo, a registered nurse, financial educator, and investor. Savannah started her real estate investing career in 2020 after having her second daughter. Looking for additional income streams and alternative ways to build wealth, Savannah began a journey of educating herself about real estate investing. She has since purchased over $20M worth of real estate, partnering primarily with healthcare professionals to scale her portfolio. Savannah is passionate about educating and supporting others to achieve their financial goals. She offers many resources on her website Networth Nurse.
In this episode, we talk about why Savannah decided to make a departure from her lifelong goal of being a CNO. We also discuss the shift in identity and mindset from that of an employee to an entrepreneur.
The approach to money Savannah takes is quite different from my previous guest Liz Drake, who embraced frugality, simplicity and passive market investing to work toward financial independence. The beauty is, there are many ways to build wealth and get the kind of freedom you desire.
I hope you enjoy this conversation! Listen below, or wherever you like to consume your podcasts.
