Maybe you’re on the verge of burnout. Maybe you’re in a state of overwhelm.
You lean out and make appropriate changes to your work-life balance.
But it’s not enough. It’s not sustainable.
Sometimes you have to just walk away.
It’s ok to walk away.
My guest on the Lean Out Podcast is here to tell you: You CAN go back.
Dr. Jenny Kelly is a pediatrician who divides her clinical time between a community health center in rural Arkansas and an integrative pediatrics consulting practice in Little Rock, Arkansas. Currently pursing a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling, Jenny is committed to expanding her skills to better help her patients and their families.
The interesting thing about Jenny’s career journey is that she took a long break: seven years long, to be exact. And yet now, she’s designed a part-time career that gives her experience in rural primary care mixed with an integrative consulting practice.
Jenny shares what it’s like to take that long of a period off and come back to a fulfilling career. She shares great tips, including leaning on those who support you, trusting your decisions, and addressing potential problems as they come. I hope you enjoy our conversation!
