We all have unique gifts to share with the people around us. What are yours?
My guest on the most recent Lean Out Podcast is Erica Bove, and she is on a mission to share her special gifts with a unique group of people: those who navigate infertility.
Dr. Erica Bove is a double board-certified OB-GYN and Reproductive Endocrinologist (REI) physician at the University of Vermont. She is also the CEO and founder of Love and Science: Thriving Through Infertility, where she helps women physicians and professionals optimize both the science and the emotional side of fertility so they can maximize their opportunities for family building.
Erica has a keen interest in marrying an evidence-based approach with intuitive knowing in the context of a trusting relationship. Her mission is to heal and support the healers and to create a legacy she is proud of. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys running, yoga, kayaking, skiing, reading, writing, and spending time with her inner circle.
Erica is doing an amazing job blending coaching and advocacy while in parallel treating patients in the same realm. We discuss this wonderful and yet careful crossover in the episode.
In our conversation, Erica also shares how she found a unique work schedule even as a specialist with an ongoing patient panel. She talks about identifying a serious need and implementing a vision of coaching for patients and physicians with infertility, and she gives insights on navigating uncertainty through the lens of infertility.
